The data released by Bureau of Economic Analysis for Personal Income and Outlays on 26th August, 2022 has come in at an increase to 0.9% for July 2022. Compared to the previous release for June 2022 at 0.5%, we can see that consumer sentiment is increasing month over month.

To see the impact and volatility of ETH's price during the Personal Income release, we will first observe the difference in volume and price changes on the 4-hours chart, followed by the 15-minutes chart. Change in prices will be be determined by the high and low prices instead of the opening and closing prices.

4-Hours Chart Analysis

In the period prior to the release, the trading volume was 120,486 ETH with prices swinging between 1,620.50 and 1,667.42, representing a swing of 2.81%. Prices ranged between a low of 1,630.54 to a high of 1,638.71, a 0.50% change. Immediately following, trading volume increased significantly by 450% to 50,480 ETH. At this time, Ethereum hit a low of 1,634.71 with a high of 1,672.37, a significant change of 2.25%.
