Released by the Department of Labor on 18 December 2025 at 8:30 AM EST. Initial Jobless Claims fell to 224K for the week ending 13th Dec, from 236K in the week ending 6th Dec.

What made it matter

Since 2021, Initial Claims releases in the two weeks before a Fed decision have moved Bitcoin Cash about as much as those at other times: a median volatility ratio of 1.42x across 94, against 1.29x across 209.
