The data released by Bureau of Economic Analysis for Personal Income and Outlays on 30th April, 2020 has come in at a decrease to -1.7% for March 2020. Compared to the previous release for February 2020 at 0.6%, we can see that consumer sentiment is still decreasing month over month.

To see the impact and volatility of ETH's price during the Personal Income release, we will first observe the difference in volume and price changes on the 4-hours chart, followed by the 15-minutes chart. Change in prices will be be determined by the high and low prices instead of the opening and closing prices.

4-Hours Chart Analysis

In the period prior to the release, the trading volume was 478,457 ETH with prices swinging between 202.00 and 219.50, representing a swing of 7.97%. Prices ranged between a low of 212.00 to a high of 213.15, a 0.54% change. Immediately following, trading volume increased considerably by 77% to 14,013 ETH. At this time, Ethereum hit a low of 211.16 with a high of 212.91, a significant change of 0.82%.
