The data released by Bureau of Economic Analysis for Personal Income and Outlays on 30th November, 2017 has come in at a decrease to 0.5% for October 2017. Compared to the previous release for September 2017 at 0.6%, we can see that consumer sentiment is still increasing but slowed month over month.

To see the impact and volatility of ETH's price during the Personal Income release, we will first observe the difference in volume and price changes on the 4-hours chart, followed by the 15-minutes chart. Change in prices will be be determined by the high and low prices instead of the opening and closing prices.

4-Hours Chart Analysis

In the period prior to the release, the trading volume was 8,713 ETH with prices swinging between 398.13 and 445.78, representing a swing of 10.69%. Subsequently, the trading volume increased by 21% to 10,505 ETH. Price action ranged from a low of 387.01 to a high of 410.00, a difference of 5.61%

Prices ranged between a low of 398.13 to a high of 419.00, a 4.98% change. Immediately following, trading volume decreased by 9% to 847 ETH. At this time, Ethereum hit a low of 398.04 with a high of 407.97, a change of 2.43%.
