The data released by Bureau of Economic Analysis for Personal Income and Outlays on 29th June, 2018 has come in at an increase to 0.4% for May 2018. Compared to the previous release for April 2018 at 0.4%, we can see that consumer sentiment is increasing month over month.

To see the impact and volatility of ETH's price during the Personal Income release, we will first observe the difference in volume and price changes on the 4-hours chart, followed by the 15-minutes chart. Change in prices will be be determined by the high and low prices instead of the opening and closing prices.

4-Hours Chart Analysis

In the period prior to the release, the trading volume was 16,855 ETH with prices swinging between 409.11 and 418.77, representing a swing of 2.31%. Prices ranged between a low of 409.42 to a high of 411.47, a 0.50% change. Immediately following, trading volume decreased by 29% to 697 ETH. At this time, Ethereum hit a low of 409.42 with a high of 410.93, a change of 0.37%.
