The data released by Bureau of Census, Bureau of Economic Analysis for International Exports in Goods and Services on 6th March, 2025 has come in at an increase to $272.4B for January 2025. Compared to the previous release for December 2024 at $270.2B, we can see that foreign trade is increasing month over month.

To see the impact and volatility of ETH's price during the International Exports release, we will first observe the difference in volume and price changes on the 4-hours chart, followed by the 15-minutes chart. Change in prices will be be determined by the high and low prices instead of the opening and closing prices.

4-Hours Chart Analysis

In the period prior to the release, the trading volume was 86,922 ETH with prices swinging between 2,249.67 and 2,305.68, representing a swing of 2.43%. Subsequently, the trading volume increased significantly by 117% to 188,753 ETH. Price action ranged from a low of 2,203.14 to a high of 2,275.50, a difference of 3.18%

Prices ranged between a low of 2,249.67 to a high of 2,275.00, a 1.11% change. Immediately following, trading volume decreased by 23% to 20,898 ETH. At this time, Ethereum hit a low of 2,252.24 with a high of 2,268.09, a change of 0.70%.
