The data released by Bureau of Economic Analysis for Gross Domestic Product Report on 22nd December, 2020 has come in at an increase to 33.4% for 2020 3rd Quarter. Compared to the previous release for 2020 3rd Quarter at 33.1%, we can see that GDP growth is increasing quarterly.

To see the impact and volatility of ETH's price during the GDP Report release, we will first observe the difference in volume and price changes on the 4-hours chart, followed by the 15-minutes chart. Change in prices will be be determined by the high and low prices instead of the opening and closing prices.

In the period prior to the release, the trading volume was 145,191 ETH with prices swinging between 597.15 and 613.93, representing a swing of 2.73%. Analysing on a lower time frame to get a more accurate picture, 8,174 ETH in trading volume was observed prior to the data release. Prices ranged between a low of 608.54 to a high of 611.79, a 0.53% change. Immediately following, trading volume decreased by 21% to 6,452 ETH. At this time, Ethereum hit a low of 609.24 with a high of 612.98, a change of 0.61%.
