What made it matter

Since 2021, Continued Claims releases in the two weeks before a Fed decision have moved Cardano about as much as those at other times: a median volatility ratio of 1.33x across 93, against 1.36x across 206. This one came out the day after the Federal Reserve's 17 March rate decision. Its own ratio of 2.00x compares with 1.36x for those, so it moved the price more than its circumstances alone would suggest.

Continued claims data are based on the week of unemployment, not the week when the initial claim was filed.
